US$1150The second popular trekking journey in the Everest region is the Gokyo Valley Trek which offers the 360º view of the entire Everest region from the Gokyo Peak. The Gokyo Valley Trek also starts from Lukla, Salleri and Jiri following the traditional route to Everest Base Camp until Sanasa, then the route goes left following Dudhkoshi river splitting from traditional route to Everest Base Camp. This is the second popular trek after Everest Base Camp Trek in Everest region with beautiful lakes, biggest glacier valley and spectacular view of snow-covered peaks are the most luring part of this trek. There are five beautiful lakes in this Gokyo Valley but Gokyo Lake is the biggest and the more beautiful Ice lake which is also known as Dudh Kunda from where the Dudhkoshi river begins and both Buddhist and Hindus visit there as holy shrine every year at the month of August. This lake is situated at the elevation of (4750 m) where people spend overnight, then early morning climb the Gokyo Peak (5360 m) to have the best panoramic view of Everest region.
Likewise, at the beginning part of the trek we can have a chance to learn and experience about Sherpa, lifestyle, culture and history of mountaineering activities in the different museum and monasteries. Moreover, rare animal, birds and plants can be studied and rallies as well during the trek. The Holiday Hiking Team has experience organizing lots of trekking in this area since a long time. Airport picks up then transfers to hotel and briefing about trek, arrange necessary trekking gears and do walking tour around oldest part of Kathmandu, if favour us. and spend overnight in ktm.
Early morning 30 minutes fly to Lukla then 4 hrs trek to Phakding (2630 m) overnight there
Phakding 5 hrs trek to Namche Bazaar (3450 m) over 2 nights
Acclimatization day for the safety concern
Namche 6 hrs trek to Dole (4200 m) overnight
Dole 4 hrs trek to Machherma (4470 m) over 2 nights there
Acclimatization day for they safety and enjoy with nature
Machherma 4 hrs trek to Gokyo ( 4800 m) overnight
Early morning climb the Gokyori (5360 m) for sunrise view then after breakfast Gokyo 5 hrs trek back to Dole overnight
Dole 5 hrs trek to Namche (3500 m) overnight
Namche 7 hrs trek Lukla (2800 m) overnight
Lukla early morning fly to ktm and evening farewell dinner together then airport drop
Two different size of bag is needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and another small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself
Shoes: One waterproof light trekking boots, light jigging /sports shoes and flip flops / sandal for night and morning during guest house
Down jacket, fleece jacket, long thermal inner trouser, windproof over trouser, warm hat, sun hat, scarf, warm waterproof gloves, 4/5 pairs of socks & underwear.
Battery charger, touch light, Sun glass, lip card, hot water bottle, sun cream

Epic Trip to Gokyo Ri
We had an awesome trek up to Gokyo and Gokyo Ri with our Guide . Had heaps of snow over a few days that set the scene for some amazing views. Thanks all team for all their help and making things so easy for us. Will definitely be back.
