Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek is a longest and traditional route to Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek before build the airport at Luk-La. Now, there is not motorway to LukLa from Kathmandu so far that is why, trekkers has to take a fly to LukLa to save time and energy then starts Everest Base Trek from LukLa. On the other hand, people starts trek from Jiri or Salleri after 7 hour to 10 hours by bus from Kathmandu to reduce high altitude sickness and weather problems as well then there is enough time for acclimatization, starting your trek from Jiri or Salleri you can have enough chance to enjoy with countless ups and down, intact Sherpa culture, wide variety of flora and fauna before reaching Lukla.

Airport picks up then transfers to hotel, refresh, and briefings about tour plan overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Kathmandu about 9 hours drives to Bhandar through the beautiful landscape, rivers, hilly town and Himalayan view as well.
Bhandar about 7 hour trek to Sete (2500 m) overnight at lodge
Sete climb to Lamjura pass 3750 m, and descend to Junbesi 6 hrs (2630 m) climbing up to Lamjura pass with wonderful view of Himalaya then all the way decend to Junbesi,Cultural Sherpa town then overnight at lodge.
Junbesi about 6 hour trek to Nunthala (2200 m), during the hike today we can see the view of everest if weather is clear. then overnight at lodge.
Nunthala about 6 hours trek to Kharikhola 6 hrs (1800 m) overnight
Kharikhola about 6 hour trek to Paiya (2650 m) overnight there at lodge
Paiya anout 5 hours trek to Chaurikharka (2750 m) overnight
Chaurikharka about 5 hours trek to Manju (2830 m) overnight
Manju about 3 hours trek to Namche Bazzar (3500 m) over two nights
Today is rest day for acclimatization around Namche so about 4 hours hike to Everest View hotel and Khumjung most famout Sherps town in Everest region, then back to Namche overnight there again.
Namche about 7 hour trek to Pangboche (3950 m) overnight
Pangboche about 4 hour trek to Dingboche (4400 m) over two nights there at lodge.
Todat is the rest day for acclimatization at Dingboche so we will try to hike to Nagarzong view point (5100m) to enjoy the view of Makalu (8485 m) Amadablum, Louboche, Cholache, Lotse many more mountain then back to lodge.
Dingboche about 6 hour trek to Louboche (4940m) overnight at lodge
Louboche about 4 hour trek to Gorkshep (5180 m) then take room and have lunch with kind of rest and again about 4 hour visit to Eberest Base Came then to lodge overnight there.
Climb Kalapather for sunrise best view of Everest and Base Camp then return to lodge and enjoy the hot breakfast and trek back to Pheriche (4240m) overnight at lodge.
Pheriche about 7hour trek to Khumjung (3800 m) overnight
Khumjung about 6 hour trek to Phakding (2630 m) overnight
Phakding about 4 hour trek to Lukla (2800 m) overnight
Fly back to Kathmandu and be refresh, shopping, sightseeing and dinner then overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Yes still there is some people doing there Everest Base Camp Trek From Jiri if they have enough time because starting from Jiri is more safety, more culture and no risak for weather problem people still enjoying to do trek from Jiri
Jiri to Ebc trek is the classic trekking route to Everest Base Camp. To enjoy more culture, nature and acclimatized people want to start their Ebc trek from Jiri without altitude and weather problem. People want to start theie Ebc treke from Jiri. If people have enough time thet it is smart to start your trek from jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek.
You can not find the licensed holder experience guide on the way to trek but you can find trekking potters on the way to ebc , But is not realiable and hjave to pay costly as well. then you have to resposnsible of potterlife condition because he does not have trekking insurance. so it is better to hire guide and potter from authorise trekking company and they will have insurance from office as well. in any thing happen on the way with guide and potter then it is responsible by trekking company.
If you feel altitude problem on the way before reaching your destination the you should wait and drink a lot, keet warm and think positive. after then do't feel getting better then you have to desend to lower elevation. If feeling bette then you can keep contonue to your destation bt if not getting better then better to return from your trek.
Two different sizes of bag are needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and other small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself
One sharing potter is provided for two guests who carry 20 to 25 kg in the high altitudes
Shoes: one waterproof light trekking boots, light jugging /sports shoes and flip flops / sandal for night and morning during guest house
Down jacket, fleece jacket, long thermal inner trouser, windproof over trouser, warm hat, sun hat, scarf, warm, waterproof gloves, 4/5 pairs of socks & underwear
