Yala Peak (5700 m) is a simple non-technical Peak in Langtang Himalaya range bordering with Tibet, which offers the 360 view of Himalayas including 14th highest peak Mt Shishapangma (8013 m) , Gauri Shanker (7134 m ),Dorje Lkapa (6966 m), Langtang Lirung (7225 m), Ganesh Himal (7422 m) and other many.The Yala Peak is regarded as Trekking Peak. It does not requares climbing permit but Climbing Sherpa and Langtang National Park permit is mandotery. Yala Peak is the famous for Mountaineering training so every year Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) chooses Yala Peak to give training for new climbing students due to accessible and nearest from Kathmandu and this peak provides the magical view of Himalaya as well.

After 7/8 hours bus or Jeep drive from Kathmandu to Syprubesi then your adventure starts following the traditional trekking route to Kyanjin Gumpa (famous tibetan monastry in langtang area) enjoying with wide varieties of flora and fauna, Tibetan culture, landscape, mesmerizing mountain view. Kyanjin Gumpa is a beautiful widespread valley in Langtang Region, which is the home of endangered Red Panda and Yak. After couple of nights spending at Kyanjin then you will go Yala Peak Base Camp (4600 m) taking with all climbing gears, food and tent then your staff serve the excellent lunch and climbing Sherpa will give you general training how to use the climbing gears and spend overnight at tent then next early morning about 2: am leave the camp for summit the Yala Peak then you can witness the dramatic scenery of Shishapangma, langtang Lurung, Gourishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Morimoto Peak more beautiful Peak then after enjoy the peak, you will return back in your hotel at kyanjin then next day follow the way to Kathmandu.

We have to do 3 days extra after Langtang valley Trek. During yala peak climbing we need tent, sleeping gears and all climbing gears and personal climbing gears like: climbing rope, Harness, Climbing boots, helmate, various knots are necessary thing as well

Traveller Useful Information

One sharing potter is provided for two guests who carry 20 to 25 kg in the high altitudes
Two different size of bag is needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and another small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself
Warm waterproof gloves, 4/5 pairs of socks & underwear.
Battery charger, touch light, sun glass, lip card, hot water bottle, sun cream
The programme is organized according to guest’s physical condition with their interest
Shoes: one waterproof light trekking boots, light jugging /sports shoes and flip flops / sandal for night and morning during guest house
