Lobuche Peak is situated between Khumbu Glacier and Dzong -La in Everest region. There are twins summits Lobuche East (6119 m) and Lobuche West (6145 m) but Lobuche East is regarded as popular trekking peak and it has been first summited in 1984. Lobuche Peak is at the left side on the way to Everest Base Camp Trek and nearby settlement of Lobuche, where trekkers spend overnight before reach the Everest Base Camp. Lobuche Peak climbing is also the additional adventure of the Everest Base Camp Trek, which offers the 360’ panoramic view of Khumbu Himalaya and mountaineering experience as well.

After 30 minutes scenic fly from Kathmandu to Lukla or 10 hour by jeep drive to Salleri then all the way following the traditional route to Everest Base Camp, enjoying with wide varieties of flora, fauna, remote Sherpa culture, magical mountain view and stunning landscape. Most of trekkers plan first enjoying with Everest Base Camp then go to Lobuche Peak Base Camp overnight at tent camp then next day about 3 hour trek to High Camp and couple of hours take training for how to use climbing gears then overnight at tent. Early in the morning about 2: am leave tent for climbing up to the Lobuche Peak (6119 m) summit from where you can have dramatic view of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumari, Amadublum, Thamshrku, Cholatse, Touche, Makalu, Choyu, Khumbu Glaciers and other more. Louboche Peak is a trekking peak not expedition so this is just addtional adventure of ebc trek. Physically fit people can enjoy loubouche Peak Climbing with following altitude instruction and itinerary then will not have problem.

Holiday Hiking Team manange all your necessary climbing gears in ktm or you can buy you own personal gear in ktm as well. if you feel altitude sickness then we should look the syntoms about 3 to 4 hour, drinking lots of water, garlic sout and keeping warm then if not getting improve then we have to lower elevation oe get serious case then use heli resque to nearest hospital.

Traveller Useful Information

One sharing potter is provided for two guests who carry 20 to 25 kg in the high altitudes

Two different size of bag is needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and another small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself.

Down jacket, fleece jacket, long thermal inner trouser, windproof over trouser, warm hat, sun hat, scarf, one waterproof light trekking boots, light jugging /sports shoes and flip flops / sandal for night and morning during guest house Climbing Boots, Climbing Personal Gears.
