Kalinchowk Trip with a Reliable Guide
Hari is a very reliable guide!
He has a strong sense of work and is always prepared to entertain you with the meaning of hospitality. It was my first trip alone with the guide. But Hari explained everything first and told me stories first so my concern disappeared immediately. I was being little tricky time to time, but he did his best to help me every time without distorting his face. He is also very good at Japanese and told the stories of various people he met interesting.
I've never hikked before! I'm a typical under-exercised homebody who has no interest in hiking or activity. I just watched a documentary series about Kalinchowk at home and since then, I couldn't get rid of the idea of it, so I challenged myself for my first hiking.
And yes! It was hard! It took me six-seven hours to get there which usually takes five-six hours! I certainly learned that I need to build up my strength!
However, Hari led me well. He kept pace for beginners of hiking. The trails in Nepal were not very polished, and sometimes it was difficult to find where to step, but I followed Hari's footsteps from behind. Thanks to him, I was able to complete the race from Charikot to Kuri Village. I had a lot of worries about giving up, but I think I was able to finish the race thanks to Hari's support. Hari is a master when it comes to mountain climbing! At the early morning on the last day when I went up to the Bagwati temple, I took a cable car and Hari climbed the trail in 20 minutes, which people said would take an hour! I thought that Hari's love and ability for the mountain is amazing.
Let me tell you about the Temple of Kalinchowk Bagwati,
I still don't know why I got carried away with it. Hari told me that Kalinchowk is where you can see the best 360-degree view compared to the shortest ㅗhiking time. It is so famous that all Nepalese people know about it, but they said it is a place where only local tourists come, so foreigners don't come often. And it was an amazing place. I can't forget the color of the morning! The scenery was so wonderful that I naturally became solemn and prayed with all my might. I wish it would be engraved on my inner heart for a long time.
Foreign tourists interested in Kalinchowk will find it difficult to find information about it easily. Online, there aren't many trips on the Kalinchowk Tour. Nor many reviews. But that's why it's more local. If you go with Hari, you will be able to feel its charm more. Kalinchowk is definitely a place worth going. The hiking I tried for the first time was hard work, but despite the hard work, I'm glad I went there. I recommend it!
